Arkas Bunker Became The Main Sponsor of The İTÜ ZES Solar Car

We extend our best wishes to the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) ZES Solar Car Team, for which we proudly serve as the main sponsor, as they gear up for the 3021-kilometer Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2023. This thrilling race will take place from Darwin to Adelaide in Australia between October 22 and 29, 2023, with over 10,000 participants from more than 40 locations.

The ITU ZES Solar Car Team has been dedicated to the development of solar cars and autonomous vehicles, working alongside aspiring young engineers from various disciplines since 2004. Over the past 19 years, they have consistently participated in national and international competitions, proudly representing both Türkiye and ITU, establishing themselves as one of the world’s renowned teams.
